8.75 (very good) season 2 much better than 1 but ending still too "common". the lotion about magical power run through both seasons but without much reliance or emphasis. the greatest surprise came from perhaps the fact that our main male lead is "created" by magic and that he's the very source of disruption in the balance of nature itself. the resolving of this dilemma wasn't handled well.

7.00 (above average) some episodes aren't funny, but some are and are very funny in fact. silly things that high school boys (and girls) do which are honestly VERY true indeed. i can relate to. artworks standard and ordinary but guess the juciy bits are the story itself. seiyuu performance - hmm... Tadakuni voiced by Irino-san just doesnt sound like the lead. Noticeable effort from the Literature Girl voiced by Hikasa-san who is very skillfully performed and sounded just right for the character.

7.25 (above average) had high expectation but somewhat didn't match that after few episodes in. seiyuu average performance. main lead voice resembled too much similiarity to his character in suzumiya haruhi. was expecting more from him. plot-wise, interesting and get people to ponder. much like a philosophy plot than your average make-you-laugh anime.

6.25 (average) characters are loveable. the mother of erino is definitely a comic relief. the point system that our main lead uses at end of every episode brings back good memories of my youth. quality of artwork - apart from the female characters, others are so so given today's technology. overall, fun to watch but so far seems to lack a central theme.

8.25 (good) great fun for relaxation. never get tired of their cute last sound in every sentence. characters all very cute even for those male-look alike characters. seiyuu performance memorable. hard to imagine its origin was just a 2minute long adverstising character.

5.00 (moderate) style and characters too childish. the idea about war is rather refreshing. lots of characters and relationships to comprehend in one episode. artist quality as usually very high standard. plot-wise, so far seems to be old fashioned - summoning hero character from modern world. hero character learn the way of this world, grow, falls in love, develop friendships etc etc. those being defected are so cute.

Dragon Crisis

6.75 (above average) better than thought. seiyuu cast strong. plot interesting but gets a bit predictable towards the end. had expected a lot more development from the other 'dragons'. bit disappointed with their lack of involvement. main male lead's parents is a nice touch at the end. lost precious society people also needed more development and involvement in story, like the soul society in bleach. the two secondary female leads are a bit weak when posed beside leading female.

7.75 (good) blood bath but rather enjoyed it. unlike other bloody anime, this one used blood not to create fun but because of progress in story, to shock audience. it revealed depth in characters, insights and development given to various characters. great show.

6.50 (above average) do not understand the plot nor the game that the whole story tried to explain except fighting and more fighting. idea of having 'heros' summoned by magicians to fight against each other interesting. and the fact that those 'heros' are from differnet legend and eras enriched the characters mix. number of unexpected development in story - with sakura being one of magicians, that main male lead has a sister etc.

7.75 (good) the introduction of the female lead is very laputa-like. the male lead seiyuu gave pretty strong performance, added much life to the character. story probably should explain just a little more about the main female leads. opening and ending songs match very well with story. different from all other animes at the same season which appeared to more or less 'sell' sexy female bodies, this appeared to be a different class.

6.50 (above average) lots of fan service which deserves some credits. but apart from that, it's a mixture of - EVA, claymore, trinity blood and sailor moon themes and gags. story pretty difficult to understand or even follow. very bloody in fighting scenes. story unfolds slow. main male lead pretty damn useless.

9.50 (excellent) great stuff for all 3 seasons although season 1 maybe just a bit standard and boring compared to season 2 and 3. but season 1 is logical and a complete story by its own mean. explained characters and relationships well so that season 2 stories maybe carried out in school background. season 3 arts quality is impressive in its time. the finale ending with main male clearly stating he wanted to be with the main female lead a bit of let down.

8.75 (very good) songs are great though storyline tend to be predictable. a typical love story. characters are well developed and growth in them maybe observed. seiyuu for mizuki memorable, the others are also pretty good, lifting the overall anime. artworks showed typical girls' manga style. songs throughout the anime used very well, created several climix.

9.00 (very good) 50+ episodes plus a movie that follows. Great stuff. story and theme one of its kind. so far, not seen another similar. characters personality great. they are well explained and developed. a complete story that begins with a rather sad reason and ended with passion but positively. seiyuu great performance. the only letdown probably is the core value of its universe not clearly explained.

6.25 (average) season one contains many twins going after one guy. a typical anime at its time. story pretty much predictable from episode one, just a matter which twins or who captures the guy's heart. seiyuu ok performance, nothing jumped out. songs not bad. but overall felt like a budgeted anime.

7.75 (good) origin taken from a h-game. a love story tangled with magical power that can only be used once in a life time. a classic love anime focusing on one male and two females. story tend to be predictable and followed traditional pattern. nothing excitingly new apart from the "gift" power.

10.00 (excellent) The Best. king of all animes. The most memorable to date. Story follows history and then deviated to all creative and innovative, completely mocking history at times. in fact, it mocks everything from history, politics (old and modern), other anime or manga, manga artists, seiyuu themselves, the editors and artists behind gintama, everyday events and anything you may think of. Characters are hailirious. Seiyuu casts very very well done, to the point i want to worship them.

Highly anticipating Season 2 which is already showing.

8.00 (good) plot is interesting. characters are mysterious which adds to its overall settings. detective stories are never easy to enjoy as they tend to be dull and long and boring when things are being unfolded. this, however, since our female lead is the dectective restored the fun in watching. her personality shows through each episode. we get a very alive picture of almost a real girl solving all kinds of mysteries. very sweet when the two main characters are together.

8.00 (good) there's shadow of various other anime works in this. story is kind of a reflection on what's in the real world of the Jap. it's advocating people to rebel the current depressing situation. seiyuu performance better than expected. artwork quality superb. must be a lot of funding in this anime. ending just not quite acceptable... it started great yet ended so so.

8.75 (very good) an ordinary story yet turns out to be quite funny. targeted audience likely to be young. kids are cute so are the teachers. characters ok, devlopment lacking in adults. the kids we see growth, just like in real life. it leaves you with warmth after watching.

8.00 (good) initially thought it's a light and happy-going story but turns out to be a heavy and very tv drama feels anime. i think it should be turned into a tv drama rather than anime after watching ep. 1. Number of seiyuu gave very different performance vs. what they usually would. several episodes into the story revels a light-hearted side of the story. the production team did a good job in introducing comic relief elements. recent artwork quality has significantly lifted.

9.25 (very good) love the presentation of relationships. although rather short anime, 6 in total. very well presented and a complete story with a beginning and a logical ending that flows through. characters are all quite well developed. the nurse could have more insights. the ending is a happy ending but with a touch of sorrow in it. again, this could be good tv drama. music deserved some credits. very touching and suitable for story. lovely anime.

5.75 (average) predictable story but unexpected love relationships in the end. wouldn't have thought to fall in love with an elder female. just not my cup of tea. female characters seem to be excessive, not all were developed and given their own story.

7.25 (above average) predictable storyline with main characters falling in love with each other through a series of events. seriously, the male lead is a bit feminie. main female seiyuu one of my favorite seiyuu. solid performance and a matching voice with the character. great stuff. unfortunately is the predictable and recurring themes of plot a let down. since love hina, many stories involved one male against many female characters and not all of them were being developed properly.

6.50 (above average) hmmm... story is about eroge. there're plenty of nude scenes - nipples flying all over screen. story wise, pretty old fashion. the metaphor about chess pieces is pretty new though. seiyuu ok i guess. thought our main male lead voiced much better in guilty crown than here.
