7.00 (above average) | honestly, didn't grasp why and what they are fighting about or for. appears to have omitted lots of explanation materials from its original novel. keep watching because of those seiyuu.
La Campanella della Benedizione Seen: completely Last Updated: Apr 25, 2011 |
6.00 (average) | not as good as thought. a predictable storyline with various characters come and go. not enough depth or insights given to these characters. development mainly focused on the main. considering its origin from h-game, probably need to play it to fully appreciate. seiyuu performance so so.
La Storia della Arcana Famiglia Seen: completely Last Updated: Oct 23, 2012 |
6.00 (average) | a story about Mafia, at least that's what I felt.

9.75 (excellent) | great cinemactic effect. songs great. sound effects as well. story comes with a beginning with a problem and then an end. characters not fully developed but the main lead did show sign of growth towards the end. unlike other mainstream anime where the male lead is usually the useless one, the femle lead of laputa is quite useless and need to be rescued.

9.50 (excellent) | great story. great fighting scenes and flying machines. great politics. great atmosphere created. The two adjournment episodes gave insights into how and why things happened the way as we see it. yet, since there were so many stories in the first season, a mere episode just isnt enough to summerise everything. nevertheless, a good effort to link 1st and 2nd seasons together. music as always fantastics.

9.50 (excellent) | great plot. managa is brilliant. anime didn't disappoint. arts quality have greatly improved in anime (vs. manga). dont understand why this turned into anime after manga was out there for such long time. best guess is that the story is all too 'advance' in its time for the market. events in story are logical, ask you to think and watch carefully for every detail as they may pop up at the end and prove to be very vital clue for what's going on. the last story with the princess tricking our baka prince into marriage is the epic.

9.50 (excellent) | visually pleasing, female leads cute. story is creative yet it's actually a simple love story. characters come out strong, established their images well and set the tone for the rest of anime. main male lead strong guy in every aspect yet always stripped away his energy by lilim's kiss.

8.00 (good) | initial thought was an anime with one female against many male. yet turned out to be one male surrounded by many females but so far seems relationships is on an one-on-one basis. manga suggested that our male lead became a father at tender age of 12, having an affair with lotte's mother. what a complex relationships. seiyuu cast strong, they added value and life into characters. ending song rather good.

9.25 (very good) | THE anime that converted me to an otaku. great story. great characters. characters are developed and we grew up with them. seiyuu strong and lift the anime to another level. songs are great. remember they were popular in chart for a while. ova equally good. it may seem old style looking back but it's one of the classics and set example for those who followed.

9.75 (excellent) | one of my top 10. a story about nothing yet just about everything in life is mentioned. great leading characters. seiyuu absoluately fabulous, much life and emotions come through their voices. the two side-kicks at end of the each episode is another reason why this anime is great. it's like having two anime in one episode. they sometimes interact but maybe view as separate. their concert included a live performance of voicing their own characters. it rocks.

8.25 (good) | storyline predictable. characters with magic power that's numbered, conceputally not new but still with its own twist of new touch. relationships between characters well layout and explained except the last female character to join the class. as i don't have any other sources to reveal who she is. till this day it's a mystery.

8.75 (very good) | humorous moments fill the rather serious presentation about relationships. robotic-alien with human relationships. interesting. creative. main characters are developed but not the others. seiyuu for the mains are great but not so so for the others. pity. the grandpa and robot panther are great characters.

8.00 (good) | skipped season 1, season 2 and season 3 pretty good. lots of characters with lots of relationships. luckily, they are developed and insights were revealed. characters shared their highs and lows with us. seiyuu solid and strong performance added value. songs are pretty well written and performed. artworks quality considered as high for many years to come. the scenes with lots of magic fights involved are well layout and spectacular.

9.75 (excellent) | watched this while growing up. great relationship development plot. although old fashioned and styled, it's full of warmth fill with touching moments every now and then. main characters are very romantic indeed.
Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai! Seen: completely Last Updated: Dec 20, 2011 |

6.00 (average) | various old anime works shadow can be seen in this anime again. the mix isn't great. seem old fashioned, out of touch. story now heavily relies on the use of pants and oppai to stay afloat unless the story becomes more original and has some sparks to provide element of interesting development. seiyuu ok but nothing great.
Seen: completely Last Updated: Apr 22, 2011 |
6.75 (above average) | predictable storyline. characters ok but lack development and insights. relationships developed through frequent contacts and lack of other competitors. unrealistic but then it's between gods and human. those summoned gods are cute and functional.

7.50 (good) | first thought... what is this? hentai anime selling as your standard anime? hmm... very creative in how they express the important of 'breasts'. Much like queen's blade, the selling point is oppai. Yet, they have all these well-known seiyuu for their characters. interesting. very much. artwork above average.

8.50 (very good) | lean to lesbianism topic but rather well unfolded without much explicit sexual reference. just a touch. all four seasons consistent quality and storyline. mostly logical and coherent. characters are well developed and shown growth throughout. seiyuu cast strong and very solid performance.

6.75 (above average) | interesting mix of crew on board Nadesico. unfortunately, not all characters were developed. the mains also not fully developed. questions remain in their relationships and ongoing progress. some parts of the story felt like a sudden piece together. left with me an incompleteness at the end.
Seen: completely Last Updated: Apr 22, 2011 |
7.25 (above average) | ending too abruptly. story about gods force to live in human world. characters all very interesting with depth and much deeper contents than looks. interaction between various gods sometimes funny sometimes serious. great gags. ending however too sudden.

9.00 (very good) | story is light and entertaining. seiyuu gave very different performance than other works. Hanazawa-san again noticeable performance, although she's only a side character. artwork above average, not superb in today's standard. but overall fun in story plot and seiyuu performance more than make up the downside. a great story to enjoy among recent works.

8.25 (good) | better than thought. various characters were developed although i think there could be more depth revealed. not bad for a one season anime. female characters mostly cute and showed distint personality. seiyuu voiced added plenty value, matching tones and context, lifted the overall feeling, giving anime a real touch as if characters are based on real figures.

7.00 (above average) | from comics already knew story is quite violent and bloody. the anime presents so with an additional touch of hentai in those characters. must say seiyuu gave strong performance which adds to that hentai feel. our main is useless as in many other stories. artwork above average.

9.00 (very good) | Great characters. Love the girls. season 2 didn't disappoint, just a bit short for it to be another season. story surrounding grade 6ers. very realistic, very much alive. events and dumb things they did happen in real life. i know i had experienced. seiyuu great work making characters more alive than they are. the eldest sister, despite being nasty to everyone, still shows her caring for her two younger siblings. great stuff.

6.50 (above average) | rather disappointed with the ending. but it's a high school drama fills with fun nevertheless. good choices of seiyuu unfortunately most characters and voices failed to match and life the characters except our M male lead. pity. story rather boring and running gag repeatative.

7.00 (above average) | very interesting topic as the theme. Management - which I studied as a major back in Uni. days. Anime converted from a novel. The way it converted or translated mgt. concepts into context in anime initially sounded interesting but then it gets a bit repeatative and boring. Yet, the theme about innovation in mgt. style came through nicely. Human resource mgt. also pointed out as a critical factor. I guess in such a short time frame it did a great job in highlighting the crucial elements in mgt. The story about the original baseball manager is rather touching.

6.75 (above average) | fighting scenes all very cool and fancy. many characters bit confusing who's who. the centre idea of this anime - the bit about how our main female lead could save the other world remains unclear to me. again, if it runs a few more episodes, may explain more.

5.00 (moderate) | don't get the plot. absoluately no idea why they are fighting. what their abilities are. what they are fighting for and so on. characters' ability seems to be innovation. characters themselves lack depth and development. seiyuu average performance.

10.00 (excellent) | interesting view of world. main character has a touch of mysterious. in fact, all about him remained a mystery even after the anime ended. the bit about his past is fascinating. the work he does for a living fascinating. the special relationship he shares with the female recorder a sweet touch. the great friendship he developed with the doctor one of the entertaining moments. the whole concept of the spiritual world that shape our entire planet earth is fascinating. never seen similar before nor since.

9.75 (excellent) | great cinemactic effect. great characters. they are developed, sign of growth. story with depth. the cutest creature ever created by the Studio. seiyuu very professional and resulted in living characters. despite watching this as a kid myself, story and characters still memorable.

8.75 (very good) | seiyuu performance solid, not surprisely since most are well-known already. story interesting with gods as normal human living and going through everyday lives as one of us. artworks tend to be targeting younger audience.

6.75 (above average) | don't quite grasp its concept. i know this is a great anime for many many fans but i just don't quite get the plot. i know what's all the fighting is against but i dont understand why and how the first impact occurred. characters wise, only after reading several manga do i understand them. i seriously think anime did not bring the best out of this story.

7.50 (good) | can almost see myself as the male lead. used to be an otaku myself for 2years in similar status. we get to see the characters' struggle and how they come to overcome their fear. but the main female lead lack just a bit explanation. it's nice to see at the end how our mains grew up.

7.00 (above average) | started with much curiosity but soon fades away. too many clueness events and guess story progressed a bit too fast at times. the two main characters both male... seems a bit into yaoi stuff... yuri is alraight but yaoi traces send shiver to my spine. music great though, gave the tone and the atmosphere. the whole No.6 concept appears to be reflective on a particular country over the Japan Sea. |
